I Can't Sleep. I Have a Book to Write. (2018)

In a world of Lovecraftian mythos with Lynchian aesthetic, an aspiring writer Phillips Howard has to write another successful novel in order to secure a publishing deal. Despite of the closing deadline, Phillips finds it hard to find inspiration thus unable to write his new work. The pressure starts to keep him up at night. One night, his mysterious, monstrous editor visits his isolated writing room to ensure the new author would finish his new masterpiece, one way or another.

This short film (final year project) is a stop-motion/live-action hybrid, paying tribute to some old films which used this technique. It is made mostly by 2 people and shoot mostly with a 1-man crew.
